To celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we are offering the first month of classes for $10.00!

For children four years old or older, we recommend that you come in with your child to try our family martial arts classes on Monday at 5:30PM (Aikido), Tuesday at 4:30PM (Aikido), Tuesday at 6:30PM (Karate), Wednesday at 4:30PM (Tai Chi), Wednesday at 5:30PM (Karate), Thursday at 5:30PM (Aikido), Thursday at 6:30PM (Karate), Friday at 4:45PM (Karate), Saturday at 9:30AM (Aikido), or Saturday at 11:45AM (Karate).

We are also accepting children on an ongoing basis from ages 5-12 in our Ultimate Afterschool Program which runs year-round. Please click the menu item on the left under Children's Programs for a full description of that program.

Main Street Martial Arts provides beginners with caring and motivating instruction. The practices are individualized and fun so that everyone learns in a comfortable environment. All students work at their own pace while working together to help each other learn.

Aikido is a Japanese Martial Art of Self-Defense that is easy to do and yet challenging enough to provide a moderate level of exercise for health benefits. Shotokan Karate-Do is a Japanese Way of Karate in the family style originating from the Okinawan Martial Arts of Self-Defense.

Tai Chi is a moving form of yoga and meditation and one of the most ancient martial arts from China. Mixed Martial Arts are primarily a system of classical Western boxing and kickboxing with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu combined, although MMA stylists may study Tai Chi, Aikido, Karate, or other martial arts as well. After your introduction program and as you advance in your skills, you will be able to practice a little faster, or a little smoother, for an even more exciting and vigorous workout.

By making use of our Introduction to Family Martial Arts, Ultimate Afterschool Program, Japanese Swordsmanship, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/Mixed Martial Arts (BJJ/MMA), Aikido, Karate, Tai Chi, Yoga, Go-Do, Classical Western Wrestling Club, Saturday Program, or Parent's Night Out offer, there is absolutely no pressure to join the school and you will have an absolutely fun time.

If you are interested during your one-week intro, we will be happy to talk to you about how to join our programs. We offer a free uniform for the Aikido and Karate programs for any intro student who enrolls as a new member and mentions this offer.

We are easily reachable by all highway points from Connecticut (CT), Massachusetts (MA), and Rhode Island  (RI).

We are located on the East Side of Providence at the corner of North Main Street and White/10th St just before the Pawtucket border, diagonally across the street from Gregg's Restaurant. 

Take Highway 95 North from Warwick, Cranston. Scituate, or Johnston or 95 South from North Attleboro, Attleboro, Central Falls, or Pawtucket

Exit 25 - North Main Street - Left on North Main Street - Left at Midas Muffler at the intersection of White St/10th St/North Main St

Drive around the building to our large free well-lit parking lot behind Midas Muffler. Our Main Entrance is via the parking lot under the "Main Street Martial Arts" sign. 

We are at the Hillside/10th Street bus stop on the #99 from Kennedy Plaza to Pawtucket City Hall via Main St or Pawtucket Ave.

From Mendon, Millville, Blackstone, Bellingham, Woonsocket, Cumberland, Lincoln, Smithfield, or North Providence, Take 146 South to Admiral St Exit - Left at the End of the Exit - Right at the light at Charles St - Loop around the Mobil Station and Jump on 95 North Ramp to Exit 25.

From Seekonk, Rehoboth, Swansea, East Providence, or Barrington, Take 195 West to 95 North - Exit 25.
